What exactly does Welcome 2 Holland provide?

We provide all the essentials you’ll need when arriving in your new home.
Think of a comfortable bed, soft bed linen, towels to dry off, and even a coffee machine with cups for your first morning brew.

Can I choose only specific items I need?

Of course you can!
Our configurator is designed to let you easily select the items you want, and skip the ones you don’t.
Just walk through it step by step and build the setup that fits your needs.

Do you offer packages or bundles?

Yes, we do offer packages and bundles. We have different options for both the living room and bedroom. You can choose your preferred interior style, decide whether you’d like a basic or more comfort-oriented package, and select how complete you want it to be: from essential items to a fully furnished setup.

Is everything brand new?

Absolutely! All the items we deliver are brand new and unused.

Can I choose between delivery only and turnkey installation?

Of course! In the configurator, you can choose between threshold delivery or full turnkey installation. The choice is yours.

What is threshold delivery?

Threshold delivery means we deliver your items right to the front door of your building or apartment—but we don’t carry them inside or assemble anything. It’s perfect if you prefer to handle the setup yourself or want to move in at your own pace.
For houses or ground-floor apartments: delivery is to your front door.
For apartment buildings: delivery is to the main entrance of the building, not to your individual unit (unless accessible without stairs or security restrictions).

How far in advance should I place my order?

We recommend placing your order as early as possible to ensure everything is prepared and in stock at our warehouse on time. Let us take care of getting everything ready before your arrival — all you need to do is be there on your requested start date.

What’s turnkey delivery?

We will place all your selected items in your apartment, remove all packaging materials, and take them away. Your laundry machine will be fully set up and ready to use, your TV will be unpacked with batteries installed, your cutlery will be neatly arranged in the drawer, and the plates will be placed in the cabinet.

Can you deliver and install everything before I arrive?

If you’d like us to install everything before your arrival, we’ll need access to the accommodation through the property manager. If the manager agrees, we can arrange this together in coordination with them.

Do you deliver on weekends or after hours?

We try to complete everything within regular working hours. If this isn’t possible due to circumstances, we can always check and see if we can arrange a time that suits you. However, please keep in mind that this cannot always be guaranteed.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Yes, we do offer returns and exchanges. Please refer to our return policy, including specific conditions and timeframes, which is outlined in the terms and conditions sent along with your offer. If you have any questions or need assistance with a return or exchange, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team.

Is this service only for expats and international workers?

No, our service is not limited to expats and international workers. While we specialize in supporting international clients, we welcome anyone who needs convenient, reliable furniture delivery and setup.

Do you work with employers or relocation agencies?

Yes, we collaborate with employers and relocation agencies to provide seamless furniture and equipment solutions for their employees and clients. If you’re interested in partnering with us, please get in touch for more details.

Is there also a rental option instead of buying?

At the moment, we don’t offer rental options. However, if you’re staying in the Netherlands for more than six months, buying your home setup is almost always the smarter choice. It’s more cost-effective in the long run, and you won’t have to deal with deposits or rental restrictions. You’ll fully own your furniture and can create a space that truly feels like home.

We’re planning to introduce a rental option in the near future.
However, we believe that buying your setup remains the better choice.

When it’s time to move out, you can easily resell your items on Marktplaats — the largest second-hand platform in the Netherlands. Many of our customers are pleasantly surprised by how much value their items still hold.
